Aldi Are Bringing Out A PINK Gin

Another day, another new alcohol product is launched by Aldi for us to obsess over - we'll need to be getting totally lit every weekend until Christmas to try them all at this rate.

Aldi are going completely extra for the party season, with its wine advent calendar and three-litre Prosecco, and there's a brand new offering we're excited about. The 'Victoria' Pink Gin is a cool peachy pink colour and is fulfilling all our Millennial Pink dreams. What's more is that its rosy hue is all natural, and comes from the Angostura bitters it contains, rather than having anything artifical added. It's mixed with eight botanicals - including juniper, star anise, coriander and Sicilian lemon, following a traditional Victorian recipe - and is a reasonable £19.99 for a 70cl bottle. It'll make the perfect gift for that mate who loves gin a bit too much (we all have one). The date of this one's release to add to your diary is November 14.

But wait. That's not even all. Aldi have said there's going to be EIGHT different gin varieties to pick from, all for between £10 and £20, so your festive stock-up of booze and gift buying spree doesn't have to leave you skint. To name just half, you can choose between the new pretty pink kind, a sloe gin, the Bombay Sapphire-esque Topaz Blue Premium, and an Irish Botanical gin in a cute corked bottle. The new gins join Aldi's £9.97 Oliver Cromwell Dry Gin, which was recently declared one of the best in the world, beating bottles costing over four times the price. Can we get a round of applause for Aldi, because it really is the one-stop shop for booze this winter.

Need some cocktail inspo? We're thinking the new pink gin would look and taste amazing with Christmassy cranberry added, while Aldi's Irish Botanical Gin is said to have 'hints of orange and juniper', perfect for mixing up something warming and spicy on a chilly eve.
