Bored of smoked salmon left right and centre? Here's how to up your salmon game.

1. Salmon En Croute

en-croute

Time: 30 minutes

This is only for if you've got the Queen coming round for dinner. Or your mum and dad and you're trying to prove you're a grown up. Don't be put off by the puff pastry, you can totally fake that with the ready made stuff. This recipe is in Spanish from La Receta De Felicidad but we whacked it through Google Translate and it's one of those rare times a translation actually works pretty well.

2. Honey Garlic Butter Salmon

Time: 15 minutes

This is so easy. This is so easy you could do it when you come back from the pub at 3AM, bollocksed out of your mind with thoughts of nothing but a kebab. It's pretty much a case of getting some garlic, getting some butter, and wanging it in with the salmon in a little tinfoil parcel. Just don't forget you put it onto cook. Full recipe her from Cafe Delites.

3. Summer Tomato And Salmon Pasta

Why does all summer pasta have to be packed full of cream and milk and cheese and the likes. Sure it's delicious but if you're planning on downing a whole tub of Ben & Jerry's for desert then you're going to need a pre-digestion non-dairy warm up and this salad with capers, possibly the greatest condiment known to man, is a good one. Get the full recipe here from Krumpli.

4. Smoked Salmon Farro Salad Bowl

Time: 35 minutes

The only tough thing about this salad, is finding the farro. Which, FYI, is another like, super cool grain that you like, should all be eating because it's like, super good for you. Whatever. If you can't find it, use brown rice instead. The world won't end, mountains won't crumble, your dinner will still be delicious. Full recipe here from Bourbon & Honey.

5. Baked Eggs With Spinach And Smoked Salmon

Time: 15 minutes

A good one for breakfast and/or lunch and dinner because when it comes to salmon, no-one's the boss of when it's 'meant' to be eaten. Also, this is very easy, so you could feasibly make it for breakfast before uni or work. I mean you won't but you could. Get the full recipe her from Paleo Leap.

6. Smoked Salmon Bagel

Time: 5 minutes

Pretend you're a New Yorker called Jimmy and you're brunching in the way that God intended you to in your fair city. Bagels, cream cheese and salmon is delightful but, done right, it's even better. This means involving, capers, red onions, pickles and the ability to say 'bagels and schmear' like Sandy Cohen. Get the full recipe here from Adore Foods.

7. Salmon Burger And Avocado Salsa

Time: 15 minutes

For when you want a burger but you're on a health kick. Team it with cheese, a brioche bun, mac and cheese and fries. You've earned it girl. Get the full recipe here from Cooktoria.
