Because it's too hot to turn your greasy horrible oven on and make your flat even more like a sauna than it already is, have a ganders at some of these super easy salads to make for dinner instead...
1. Chickpea Avocado and Feta Salad
Time: 5 minutes
Probably the easiest thing you've ever made in your life. Just make sure to drain the can of chickpeas from chickpea juice because chickpeas=good , chickpea juice=weird and sweaty. Get the full recipe from Homegrown & Healthy.
2. Apple, Cranberry & Walnut Salad
Time: 10 minutes
For if you like a bit of sweet with your savoury. Go easy on the vinegar in the dressing through - too much and it'll be a little tart. Get the full recipe here from La Creme De La Crumb.
3. White bean and caprese salad
Time: 5 minutes
Mozarella and fresh garlic? Yeah, we'll take that please. Get the full recipe here from Skinny Taste.
4. Carrot & Apple Slaw
Time: 10 minutes.
Because normal coleslaw is packed with mayonaise which, whilst being delicious, is also not very good for you at all, eat this instead. It's actually better. Get the full recipe here from Five Heart Home.
5. Kale, Apple & Avocado Salad
Time: 5 minutes
If you want to be really pretentious with this dish, you can take a few minutes to 'massage' the kale. No really. Get the full recipe here from Well & Full.
6. Fresh Corn, Tomato, Avocado and Basil Salad
**Time: **10 minutes
The author of this recipe says you can switch it up by adding grilled haloumi. So, if you can bear turning the oven on, that could well be a good shout. Get the full recipe here from David Lebovitz.
7. Rainbow Salsa Salad
Time: 15 minutes
The only ballache of this dish is the fact that you have to chop loads of peppers. And peppers are a bitch to chop. Nevermind though, it all tastes good in the end. Get the full recipe here from Gimme Some Oven.
