1. Sparkling Kale Lemonade

Everyone's talking about lemonade but have you actually had any lemonade in the wake of the whole Beyonce Becky with the Good Hair thing? Thought not. Don't forget about the true meaning of lemonade. This stuff is way better for you than lemonade you buy (FILLED with sugar mate) and what's more this is super simple to make. It's just lemons and kale and ice. 2. Roasted Garlic Kale Hummus

Time: 50 minutes

This is from a blog called The Garlic Diaries, so you know it's got to be good. Anyone that appreciates garlic enough to name their website after it has got to be an excellent person. Annie, who made up the recipe reckons this is the best version of hummus you'll get your hands on. It's a tall claim, but one we're willing to test.

3. Kale Crust Pizza

Time: 30 minutes

I'm sceptical about this - mainly because I tried to make a cauliflower base pizza last week and it ended up not setting and becoming a mush with pizza toppings on. So, what I would say is that make sure you spready your base thin pre putting it in the oven. Get the full recipe here from Sweet As Honey.

4. Garlic Kale

Time: 10 minutes

Again with the garlic. Sorry. But I'm under the impression that there's nothing garlic can't improve the taste of. Kale? Sure. Chocolate? Why not. This garlic kale from Served From Scratch takes no time at all, is super healthy and has like, three ingredients. Use more garlic if you're hard enough.

5. Kale Pesto

Time: 10 minutes

Pesto isn't just that stuff in jars you used to mix with pasta every single day when you were a student. Oh no. Pesto can be, as well as a pasta flavourer, a salad dressing, a dip (mix it with mayo), a spread, a marinade... always have a jar of it in your fridge for flavour emergencies. This make-your-own version from Food 52 is way healthier than the jar stuff. BTW, EVOO is what the wanky food blogger people call Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

6. Crispy Kale

Time: 15 minutes

I didn't make this one up but I'd like to think I've perfected the recipe. Get some kale. Duh. Spread on a baking tray and cover sparingly with soy sauce and olive oil. And seasme seeds if you're a baller. Put it in the oven until it's slightly crispy (my oven takes about 7 minutes but it's erratic as fuck) and serve in a bowl. People will lose their minds. Promise.
