Are you sitting there looking at all the bloggers and models and Kardashians getting books deals and being all like 'Well I'm a better writer than them' before grumpily returning to an episode of Friends you've seen seventeen times?

It's time to put your money where your mouth is writer ladies. Now is your chance to pick yourself up a book deal. Worth £50,000.

Richard and Judy of Richard and Judy's Book Club are on the hunt for a new author along with WHSmith and publishing house Bonnier Zaffre in their 'Search for a Bestseller' competition.

The winner gets £50,000, a publishing deal with Bonnier Zaffre and the chance to pick the brains of excellent literary agency Furniss Lawton.

Also, NBD, but last year's winner Tracey Rees wrote a book called Amy Snow which was on the Sunday Times' Bestseller list.

To enter, all you need to do is submit 10,000 words of your book (once you start typing that's like nothing) and a synopsis of the novel. It must be a piece of original fiction that is aimed at adults.
