A Christmas cracker definitely makes Christmas complete - but let’s be real. If you got to pick between a Christmas cracker or a thoughtful gift from your BFF, that tissue crown wouldn’t stand a chance. But what if you could have the best of both worlds and the cracker could contain all the tiny presents of your dreams? Consider your Christmas prayers answered. And it’s super easy.
All you need is a toilet paper roll, an old magazine or wrapping paper, glue, some construction paper and ribbon or string. If you want to make things truly authentic, you can even buy cracker snaps to make that satisfying POP (since we’re going for ease, i’ve left them out). Ice lolly sticks, which help make pulling the cracker apart easier, are optional too.
Take your loo roll and wrap your the fancy magazine page around it. Glue in place.
Roll up some card and insert it into one end of the tube to keep the cracker shape. Tie it up with some string. Remove card.
Fill the cracker with whatever your heart desires. A love letter. Lipstick. Perfume Samples. Condoms.
Repeat the rolled up card/tying process on the other hand.
If you want the opening the cracker process to be more satisfying, cut snap some ice lolly sticks and glue to the inside of the cracker.
Feel satisfyingly smug that your loved one is going to receive the best, most personalized Christmas cracker in the history of all Christmases. That’s what the holiday season is all about, right?
