It's lovely to think that one day, sometime soon you'll have a room in your house that serves no other purpose than housing your book; a 'library' if you will.

Chances are, that won't be for quite a while but, until then, you can still make your book game strong. Here's how.

1. Invest in the IKEA KNOPPANG picture ledge

And display your favourite books and magazines like pictures.

2. Pile 'em up at the end of your bed

To create an excellent surface for chucking clothes on that you can't be bothered to hang up. Like this.

3. Make your own DIY bookcases

But without any of the hassle of like, using tools or any of that rubbish. Find out how here.

4. Put them on a bloody ladder

Because it looks cool. Buy this one from Etsy or steal a ladder and paint it yourself.

5. As a bedside table

Don't paint them though. Like this maniac. Just choose your prettiest ones and arrange accordingly by colour.

6. On your windowsill

Works best if your windows are double glazed. Otherwise switch them up every couple of weeks to avoid a case of soggy books.
