From boycotting the Presidential family to catwalk protests, the fashion industry have made their feelings on Trump very clear. Now, a major player in the beauty industry is also taking a stand.

Illamasqua, the makeup brand known for championing diversity, are asking customers to confirm they are not Trump supporters before making any purchases.

The beauty giant is asking customers to agree to their ‘anti-fascism pledge’ which includes agreeing never to discriminate against anyone because of their race, colour, nationality, ethnicity, gender, age, disability, sexual orientation or religion.

Illamasqua are hoping that this pledge will mean they "never knowingly sell products to people who support President Trump's values".

"We believe in the freedom of expression, equality and diversity. That's why we are horrified by President Trump's actions to date. We refuse to remain silent while extreme right-wing populism gains momentum," Illamasqua said in a statement.

Alongside actively discouraging Trump supporters from buying their products, Illamasqua are aiming to raise £25,000 for Sophie Lancaster Foundation - a charity working to stamp out prejudice, hatred and intolerance everywhere. 100% of the profits from their Lip Lure in shade Nebulus goes towards the cause.
