What do the editors with a schedule of back-to-back events wear to London Fashion Week?

Athletes may have the Olympics, but those in the industry have fashion week. In many ways, they are one in the same with fans glued to the action and competitors sparring for attention. The only difference is fashion week happens twice a year, not once in four.

In the past week, Grazia’s resident Style Editor Polly Knight has been flexing her sartorial muscles, stretching her creative flair as she attended London Fashion Week. With the camera bulbs of street style paparazzi flashing, our Polly packed a punch. She scored a home run in heels she could walk in, got a hole in one with a touch of corduroy and won gold in sunglasses that could reflect the glare of the front-row lights.

Her secret weapon? An unfussy uniform. Though the endless invitations and constant offer of champagne sound glamourous, the reality is this is work for Polly. Through a combination of immaculately planned outfits, she was able to elevate her everyday items by slotting in trend-leading pieces to create a wardrobe that was practical, yet directional and perfect for taking on the front line of fashion week.
