The setting was the stunningly beautiful Paris Opera and the FROW featured Kanye West and her farther Sir Paul McCartney, but all eyes remained on the collection of gorgeous giant knits, tactile faux furs and weirdly wonderful jewels. Here are 5 things that we loved...

1. Twister Pearls

Pearls in cream and black swirled with elegance and grace on the models décolletage. When added, it's enough to make evening wear sing. On our Christmas list.

2. Fun Fur

Stella's faux furs come in the softest cream in oversized shapes and made the models look like very chic abominable snowmen. Cute.

3. Fluted Hems

Fancy hems alert! (Jason Llyod Evans)

Fluttering around the ankles of trousers, the hems were overtly fluted like bluebell buds. The prettiest hems we've seen all week.

4. Giant Knits

Stella has clearly been busy with the knitting needles! (Jason Llyod Evans)

Huge in scale, navy jumper dresses in a bias but pattern and worn off the shoulder looked great, as did the one-sleeved ribbon tunics with sloppy necks worn with wool skirts. We would happily snuggle in one of these McCartney knits.

5. Crochet

Table cloth chic! (Jason Llyod Evans)

Again in navy and cream, crochet dresses thankfully managed not to look boho or over girly thanks to high necks and midi lengths. Not a table cloth reference in sight.
