Whilst we've come to know and love the fun faux furs of A-list-loved brand Shrimps we thought we sorta knew what to expect today… but creeping into a dark glittery cave we knew there was more to come. As Alexa Chung and Pixie Geldof appeared cutely kitted out in coordinating leopard-print pony skin jackets, so did a host of models clad in way more than coloured fur.
Here are our five favourite things...
1. Tartan with Fur
Shrimps have nailed a new fabric - tartan! And in adorable colourways with trimmed collars they were entirely school-girl adorbs.
2. The Hooded Anorak
Gasps came from the back of the room at this fur trim parka - this is a twist on what's become an ol' reliable winter staple.
3. Gleaming glitter
Coats made of glitter. YES! AND pleated skirts too.
4. Appliqued Badges
These were a delightful addition to the traditional coloured fur coat - little appliquéd cartoon badges popped up on clutches, coats and sweaters.
5. A Perfect Autumn Palette
Utterly Nouvelle Vague inspired - and oh-so-Alexa who takes all her inspo from french '60s icons like Jane Birkin and Anna Karina - the colour combos on offer were delicious. From mustard and French navy to to camel with red and forest green with mink grey - we were in luuurve.
