Now we've recovered from the blur of catwalk struts and coffee that was London Fashion Week, we've been busy dissecting the trends. And as well as plenty of pieces we have our eyes on from the runways, the street style fashion set have given us plenty of inspo for how to change up our wardrobes right now.
There were more than a few 'It' items trending at the London show spaces, as well as some clever styling tricks we're getting to work on, asap.
Here's what our favourite street style stars were wearing at LFW:
Frayed denim
Whether it was a jacket with flyaway frays on the cuffs a raw-edged wrap skirt or the ubiquotous cut-off slim-leg jeans, frayed denim was the coolest way to wear blue this season.
Striped knits
Statement knits with bold geometric prints or colourful stripes were the coolest way to give a subtle nod to the 70s this LFW. We have our eye on Kenzo's asymmetric striped roll neck [pictured centre].
Snakeskin boots
While leopard has reigned for a few seasons straight, snakeskin is having its time to shine this Autumn/Winter. Thanks to their neutral hue, a pair of leopard boots go with everything. Perfect for giving a nod to this season's 70s trend.
Topsy-turvy dressing
It's not just what you wear, it's how you wear it - and the street style set have thrown out the rule book this season. Take dressing in the dark as your muse for how to layer. Think backwards shirts and skirts over dresses or trousers, though obviously keep your silhouette streamlined - you don't want to take it too literally.
Boyfriend jeans
Classsic boyfriend jeans were trending at LFW. Best worn with a bold knit and a pair of this season's most coveted shows - Gucci's horsebit loafers, they also look great with a generous cuff.
