Winter is coming and - while we could do without the rain - New Look’s AW15 edit has us feeling pretty excited about wrapping up in this season’s biggest trends. Full of warm autumnal colours and retro touches, their Heritage collection has everything you need to get ready for the new season. Be warned: you're going to want everything. One of the key AW15 trends to have dropped at New Look recently, the Heritage collection, takes traditional shades and shapes from the 60s and 70s (think A-line skirts and polo necks in camel, mustard and rust) and gives them an AW15 update with masculine brogues, oversized outerwear and lots of layering – which is useful because we want it all and we want to wear it all at once.

Top of our Heritage wish-list is the vintage-looking patchwork suede and leather skirt. Ticking off a number of AW15’s biggest trends in one item (A-line, leather, suede, buttons and patchwork) this hero piece can we worn with everything from pussybow blouses to chunky knits. Style with New Look’s must-have suede coat (there’s no such thing as too much suede this season) and over-the-knee boots.

Another heritage favourite of ours is the boxy camel jumper. Simple and chic, it looks great with skinny jeans, worn loose over an A-line mini or underneath a classic pinafore. The colour makes it a great way to nod to the stylish seventies without going full on Farah Fawcett.

Full of classic prints like check, plaid and floral and textures like shaggy shearling, suede and faux fur (we’re loving their collection of faux fur collars - giving any coat that instant new season update), this retro collection is one of three AW15 trends to have landed at New Look.
