The ultra-glamorous outfits we see in pictures from Paris Fashion Week have many things in common - including a certain impracticality. Read between the lines - or should that be front rows? - and a handful of trends become lucid, all of which can be easily replicated courtesy of our fast-moving high street.
While not everything will translate into real life (hello, Molly Goddard Killing Eve dresses), many do. Take the rise in tartan coats for instance. It was checkmate all across Paris as we saw these trophy jackets wend their way on to the shoulders of a substantial amount of show-goers. Similarly, scarlet, that traffic-stopping colour, struck out as a popular shade while a certain Prada bag became the must-carry of the week.
Here’s the low-down on the ultimate street style shopping list.
