Tally ho! Moncler Gamme Rouge metaphorically transported the fashion crowds out of the inner city and into the countryside for today’s autumn/winter 2015 show. Here are the five things that galloped ahead….

1. The Bucolic Runway

Rural charm abounded from the mossy, autumnal catwalk this super-brand created for the models to stroll and wind their way through. It then turned misty for the finale, with girls in red coats lining up in the eerie darkness.

2. Haute Beefeaters

Salute! (Jason Llyod Evans)

Like a very chic take on London’s instantly recognisable guards, Moncler Gamme Rouge’s red outerwear and furry, tall hats look nothing short of super-smart.

3. Matchy Helmets

Safety first! (Jason Llyod Evans)

Fedoras, caps, beanies… the fash pack do love a hat, so maybe they’ll take to the idea of a checked riding helmet to match a Prince of Wales- patterned frock.

4. Posh Camo

Patched, embroidered and planted onto tweed, this was no ordinary camouflage. Only problem is – you’d want to be seen in it.

5. Heritage Jackets

Tweed times! (Jason Llyod Evans)

Whether khaki and quilted or red and emblazoned with regal goldwork-style embroidery, each of these pieces speak of aristo family heirlooms from across the centuries.
