Not only are we bringing you the London Fashion Week action from catwalk sidelines, we're also pulling back the curtain on the backstage areas. Behind-the-scenes at House of Holland we got a closer look at the moving conveyor belt, the piles of multi-coloured fluff and word on how to recreate the cyber-goth 'Uptown Urchins' beauty look...
1. The conveyor belt
Henry gave the models a rest - they were given a ride down the catwalk on the moving conveyor belt. Genius. Our only question is why this isn't done more often? Watch the models rehearse the finale in the video below. Spoiler - there is an adorkable group tumble at the end.
2. Do-it-yourself eyes
Henry Holland always creates a character and this season he's introducing us to the 'uptown urchin.' Her beauty look is tough but considered, the face is kept simple except for a bold graphic stripe swept across the eye. The MAC team kept it raw, going for a 'she's done it herself' finish, making it so much easier for us non-professionals to do it ourselves.
**3. Nail art that doesn't require an art degree
**
The nails by Sophy Robson were in keeping with the eye makeup, with one black diagonal stripe across each nail. One to try at home we thinks.
**4. Henry's FROW mates came backstage
**
Henry has been known to have his friends backstage (cough Harry Styles), and this time it was New Yorker Leigh Lezark who joined him for the pre-show prep. Henry's other FROW friends include Alexa Chung, Daisy Lowe, Harley Viera Newton and Atlanta de Cadenet. They all got a spin on the conveyor belt, making one of the best Insta videos from fashion week so far...
5. Almighty fluff envy
Henry's AW15 might be a muse, but this goth wears colour. Henry showed a rainbow of fluff, with striped fluff-ball coats in pinks, purples and reds. We've got our eyes on the fluffy inky blue neck warmers.
