Meet the 'groutfit.' That's a grey outfit to those of you who haven't already clocked the sheer volume of cloudy, skate-coloured, head-to-toe looks overtaking our street style feeds. Or is it just a case of matching our clothes to the weather (sigh)?
Either way, our favourite street stylers have elevated concrete tones out of the boring realm. It's all about texture and getting tonal. We're talking fluffy knits, bobbly coats, ribbed sweaters, felt shoes. Don't forget to grey-ccessorise!

Take The Easy Route With a Jumpsuit
Head-to-toe Grey? Possibly the most effective purchase for this trend would be a grey jumpsuit. Minimal input, chic output.
Crack Out a Classic and Put on A Suit
This doesn't have to be a traditional suit though. Caroline De Maigret's raw hems and kick flares, or Linda Tol's shades of grey suit are both alternative takes on the trend, and offer a way to work a groutfit into your workwear.
Grey Knitwear: Go-To Winter Groutfit
When it does really get chilly, grey knitwear is the easy-peasy way to stay warm and look chic. A burgundy accent adds a hint of colour, but doesn't distract from the main event.
Ice Ice Baby: Cut through with cool pale Grey
Grey doesn't always have to be a grim stormcloud colour. You can keep your wardrobe bright and refreshing through the winter months, as demonstrated by Lena Perminova and Kendall Jenner here. Both Ladies play on proportions to make a statement, even in neutrals.
It's All About Ankle-Grazing
Whether it's a midi skirt or a cropped trouser, a the only other colour coming through your groutfit is your skin. Keep it cropped and you'll be tacking two trends in one, like Eva Chen here.
