Sesame
The latest venture from Yotam Ottolenghi and Sami Tamimi has vibrant, freshly made take-out food and a magnificent Turkish tiled floor. It is my favourite spot for a quick lunch - their pita stuffed with lemon zataar chicken, humous and chopped salad is fantastic. Click here for details.
José Pizarro
My wonderful friend José has opened his third restaurant in Broadgate Circle and it’s incredible - Feast on saffron and crab croquettes, silky slithers of octopus and huge plates of charred lamb chops. Just make sure that you save room for his wickedly good chocolate spread with olive oil and sea salt. Click here to book.
Arabica Bar and Kitchen
With sublime Middle Eastern food, a crackling wine list and the perfect spot in Borough Market, this little restaurant is the ultimate place to chill for a long lazy lunch. I love their creamy whipped feta with toasted sunflower seeds and soft lamb kofta that are beautifully spiced and flecked with fresh herbs. Click here to book.
Yauatcha city
Winding halfway around the top of Broadgate Circle, the new Yauatcha City is a slick beast. Like its Soho sister, the restaurant serves delicious dim sum, expertly made cantonese dishes and intricate sweet pastries. Click here to book.
The Duck and Rice
Top marks to Alan Yau who has pulled out all the stops for his Chinese pub in Soho. Retro dishes are served alongside modern masterpieces and incredible Asian desserts. I loved their juicy Cantonese roast duck and the fiery hot Kung Po chicken. Click here to book.
