What We’ll Be Taking From DKNY’s New Uniform Come Autumn

For the past few seasons DKNY's girls have been sporty through and through, but for autumn winter 2015 they've smartened up their act. Here are the five things we'll be taking from their new uniform...

1. Chunky black shoes and white socks: school girlish but slightly punky, the white sock has been inching in on the street style scene but these feel like a grown up NYC version.

2. V necks with roll necks: So when you're deciding between your fave jumpers just wear both! Simples.

3. Scuba fabrics in winter: Because actually they're great all year round and quite fun and bouncy when used for a party frock.

4. Vibrant clashing brights: especially the jolt of turquoise set against lipstick red. The DKNY line up may have featured a lot of easy peasy charcoal, black and navy but these jewel hues were the real winners.

5. Mannish coats: it's an outerwear trend with plenty of steam left in it. The fluffy houndstooth number was particularly covetable.
