I have visited (and had) a few Dirty Martini's in my time, with their six venues across London, it's hard not to. But being a born and bread North London girl, I like to stick to where I know. Enter the new Dirty Martini in my regular stomping ground; Upper Street.
The old 'XOXO' (R.I.P.) has had a make-over beyond recognition, with chic booths, low lighting and asymmetric wall designs - the perfect place to relax after work, or sip cocktails late in to the night.
Dirty Martini prides itself on its innovative and extensive cocktail offering and, to celebrate the new opening; the bar will be offering up ten brand new, mouth-watering cocktails to round off their sophisticated summer serves.
The new collection, designed by some of London’s top mixologists, has been created by combining on-trend ingredients with delicious summer flavours. New serves include the refreshingly different Peach and Wild tea Martini, the Raspberry and Cider Apple Martini, and the Pineapple & Cardamom Martini, all providing the perfect complement to a lazy summer’s afternoon.
On top of this, why not try out Dirty Martini’s Summer Club? Every Thursday during summer a range of new summer cocktails are available for only £6 each. These cocktails include Tommy’s Summer Shandy (Gin, lemon juice, ginger syrup and Doom Bar Lager), Poppy’s Summer Potion (Gin, Coquelicot liqueur, lemon juice and prosecco) and Strawberry & Rhubarb Sours (Rhubarb vodka, crème de Fraise, strawberry syrup, rhubarb puree and fresh strawberries). As if summer could get any better?!
If the extensive array of cocktails isn’t enough to tempt you, the Islington bar will also be offering up a range of dangerously tasty Dirty Martini Bites, including chilli crumbed calamari with a lemon and chilli aioli, crispy vegetable dumplings or cucumber ribbons with soy and ginger dressing or a Mediterranean Sharer plate.
