Over the weekend, the most star-studded festival of the celebrity calendar took place. Coachella, of course. And A-listers donned their greatest sartorial get-ups in preparation to be Instagrammed left, right and centre. Whether they were attending an exclusive party or gearing up to watch this year's headliners...
And we couldn’t stop ourselves from excessively scrolling through every ‘squad’ snap, example of festival PDA (we're looking at you Selena) and envy-inducing Insta-story. But we weren’t the only ones keen to see what everyone was up to, as fashion giant Lyst has reported that our weekend shopping habits were inspired by some famous faces.
Whether it was Sofia Richie's nod to retro athleisure or Kylie Jenner's everchanging locks, we round up the four 'It' items inspired by the first festival of the season:
Gucci’s ‘It’ Tee
Rihanna undoubtedly stole the crown for the most Instagrammable look of the year so far. Decked in a bejewelled bodysuit by Gucci, the singer captioned her snap with the admittedly relatable line, 'I can’t go home yet, cuz enough people ain’t seen my outfit'.
The singer finished the look with a graphic tee by the brand of the moment. On Saturday, search for the Gucci t-shirt increased by 203 percent.
Athletic Co-Ords
Girl of the moment Sofia Richie is the go-to muse when it comes to all things athleisure. And this festival season, was no exception. Instagram’s muse took to the social media platform to debut her Coachella look.
Opting for a white bralet and Reebok windsuit, the 18-year-old demonstrated how to sport the trend this season. And Sofia didn’t go unnoticed, as her nod to athleisure sparked a 74 percent increase in searched for Reebok tracksuits over the weekend.
The Mini Dress
If there’s one celebrity we can rely on to update us with her seemingly endless outfit changes, it’s Kylie Jenner. And last weekend, was no exception. Before attending her sister’s Bumble party in snakeskin co-ords, the 19-year-old donned a nude mini dress with a neon yellow chop.
And it seems her Instagram snaps sparked interest, as over 23,000 people searched for a similar barely-there look on Lyst over the weekend.
Round Sunnies
It seems this season, we’re all about retro frames. Just take a look at Bella Hadid, Selena Gomez and Sofia Richie for instance.
There’s not a day goes by when the A-listers aren’t donning noughties-inspired tinted sunnies. And thanks to Coachella, there was a 333 percent jump in searches for round frames in particular. Make sure the sunnies snap up the top spot on your wish lists this season.
