Burberry Prorsum Autumn Winter 2015: Bohemian Rhapsody

The biggie, Burberry Prorsum's Autumn Winter 2015 show, was made of many impactful parts: a storming series of winter boho looks, live music provided by the equally powerful vocals of Claire Maguire, a choir finale, a front row dotted with the most significant names in fashiontown and the prettiest model line up... It was everything you'd expect of CEO and creative director, Christopher Bailey, a man who knows that fashion should entertain and be an experience.

Here's what we enjoyed the most...

1. Winter Bohemia

With fabrics that looked as though they had been sourced from the finest mills across the world - Japan, India, Bali, you name it - the Burberry girls midi peasant dresses were just the kind of collectable you'd dream of finding in a souk in the 1970s and bringing home to brag about.

2. Suede everything

This hide wasnt hiding! Prorsum's suede collection included fringed hobo bags, intricately patchworked over the knee boots and sumptuous suede fringed capes and trenches.

3. FROW action

It doesn't get much starrier than this: Kate Moss, Leigh Lezark, Immy Waterhouse, Sam Smith, Cara Delevingne (lucky devil already had a pair of the suede OTK boots) and Paloma Faith were just a few on the celebs on site.

4. All Singing Soundtrack

Music is always key to Bailey and Burberry. This season he had Claire Maguire performing live. George Harrison covers were top of the set list, including the House of the Rising Sun. My Sweet Lord then followed for the finale, along with a live gospel choir who popped up behind the back row. Add in disco balls and some glitter rain and you have yourself a moment.

5. Colour palette

Another show on the LFW using traditional colours of autumn including the richest reds, forest greens, mustards, ochre, aubergines and rusty oranges. Put in a dash of leopard print and the outfits felt eclectic rather than minutely assembled.
