Bella Hadid has somewhat of an impressive track record when it comes to reviving archival bags. Long-time fans will remember she was an OG wearer of the Dior Saddle Bag, and it doesn't look like her talent for sending fashion editors scrambling for bags their mum owned is going anywhere soon. The poster-girl for effortlessly cool, Y2K-wearing, vintage bags, her latest arm candy proves her love affair with throwback brand Coach is as strong as ever.

Spotted on 25 March carrying the Empire Carryall Bag, Hadid made the bag look even chicer than we thought it could ever possibly look, styling it with an all-black ensemble complete with sheer tights, knee-high boots and a fitted mini dress. A model off-duty look at its finest, the bag has a rounded shape, elongated top handle and glossy leather finish - you can expect a surge in Coach sales imminently.

The Empire Carryall Bag does exactly what it says on the tin - it's roomy enough for all your essentials (lip gloss, cardholder, phone) without being overly weighty. Made from a leather that's tumbled for a high-shine finish, it's finished with buckled and a tall structured handle. There's plenty going on the inside too, with a multifunctional pocket and lanyard to secure a keychain.

It all started last year, when Hadid was spotted carrying the Coach Brooklyn 39 shoulder bag. She didn't just carry it once, though, she was seen with both the super-slouchy black version and the tan suede style, the latter of which just so happens to have been named as the most popular bag of the last few months in Lyst's quarterly index. For an under-£500 bag to take the top spot – above fashion's usual handbag power players like Miu Miu, Chanel and Dior – is kind of a big deal, and proves the selling power of Coach's bags (not to mention of Ms. Hadid herself).

A day in the city, lunch with girls, a date to the cinema - the options are endless. The glossy leather iteration is just so chic.

While Hadid's corresponding outfits were fairly summery, it's as if by magic she appeared in the cooler months to show us how to style another Coach bag for autumn/winter. This time she carried the newly-launched Coachtopia Alter/Ego Hobo Bag in checkerboard 'upcrafted' leather, also with plenty of room for more than just your phone and your purse. It's also £350 so, while not exactly cheap, it's certainly more accessible as far as luxury bags go.

Made from the leather scraps left over after a Coach Tabby Bag has been cut from a leather hide, this hobo-style bag is the perfect addition to any autumn outfit, but we particularly approve of Hadid's leather jacket and jeans combo.

Hadid has declared the end of cramming everything into tiny receptacles, opting instead for something spacious and stylish - the perfect blend of fashion and functionality, with a slouchy shape offering ample room without looking overly bulky. And not to get technical but these bags' balanced handle-to-shoulder ratio ensures comfortable carrying without sacrificing on style.

This type of bag would be typically reserved for office attire, yet Hadid defied convention by pairing hers with Daisy Dukes for a trip to the countryside and a fun graphic 'Here Comes Trouble' tank top and vintage 1999 Gucci leather pants for the city, proving that a large bag can accompany any look, whether casual or dressed-up.
