**If you're searching for your dream wedding dress right now, or merely dreaming that *need *to search for one, you need to follow our cribsheet to the hottest gown trends at Bridal Fashion Week. Blushing brides stalked the catwalks of New York this week to showcase the new Spring 2015 collections, paving the moodboards for next year's weddings. Our top 8 trends are on a need-to-know basis:

1. '90s Minimal

With all the '90s grunge and minimalism rife on the streets and at the show, it was only a matter of time until the Corinne Day-era Kate Moss silk slip dress made a major play for the bridal runway. Slinky, sultry and sorta grungey this look is perfect for a tomboy bride. We loved Vera Wang's take on the look.

2. Grecian Goddess

Of course, some bridal trends are timeless and the Grecian goddesses seen at Alberta Ferretti and Austin Scarlett has made a very pretty beach bride for some time now (Mama Mia, anyone?). Soft, summery elegance - how could that ever go out of style?

3. Ice, Ice Baby

Whilst pink dresses were huge (as well as slim-fit) last year frosted tones were aplenty on the Spring 15 runway as more and more brides opt for non-traditional dresses.

Would you believe - Princess Kate started a bridal trend?! New York wedding boutique owner Mark Ingram commented on the huge trend that K-Middy sparked with her long-sleeved Alexander McQueen gown, dubbing it 'on-the-shoulder' to WWD. It's discreet and demure whilst sneaking in a low neckline...

      5. *Off-*the-shoulder

From K-midd's On-the-shoulder, designers went straight off. It's a new take on a nuptials classic though - with a slimmer 'sleeve' this shoulder slopes off in a neat, Carven-esque way - thoroughly modern!

      6. Screen Siren

Another classic gown is the silverscreen goddess - Amsalen Jenny Packham and Austin Scarlett will help you channel your inner Marilyn and who wouldn't want that?

      7. Summer Separates

The early spring bride can happily choose from a range of separates to keep the chill off: the Mother-of-the-Bride will be proud.

      8. Capulet Chic

Drape yourself over your balcony in a Shakesperean-smocked gown on your wedding day. Team with a wild-flower garland but ditch the hair braids and whispy half-up-half-down dos: this is a cleaner take on the romantic look and slicked back hair is a must.
