You’ve cleaned up in the sales, but your conscience is feeling a little - how should we put it? - deflated at the consumerism involved, plus you still haven’t chipped away enough at your present list. We’ve got two words for you: Giving Tuesday. Following up from Black Friday, and its similarly sale-happy cousin Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday is where brands do exactly what it sounds like: give back, usually with a charitable donation. As well as shopping from brands that are doing good today, you can also just give back this Tuesday. As part of its two year partnership with homeless charity Crisis, Tesco Mobile is encouraging customers to buy a virtual Christmas (SIM) card. All the money raised will be used to help buy phones, devices and connectivity to reconnect guests benefiting from the services at Crisis with their friends and family over the festive period.
