Winter weddings aren't the easiest for guests which it comes to choosing what to wear, after all, a floaty maxi dress for a Santorini wedding is quite the no-brainer. But just because the sun is no longer shining doesn’t mean wedding season is over as many couples choose a to tie the knot in a romantic snow covered setting. We’ve seen lots of celebrity winter weddings before; from Nicole Richie and Joel Maddon to Madonna and Guy Ritchie who both channelled a chilly December wedding style fabulously.
Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, Elie Saab Autumn Winter 14 Runway (Jason Lloyd Evans)
We’ve looked to the catwalk for some wedding attire inspiration as the mercury begins to drop and we thought we'd share. Firstly, why not opt for a long sleeve dress like Dolce & Gabbana showcased for Autumn Winter 14 that is equally flattering as it is practical. Or maybe try some suiting - from a classic Chanel inspired skirt and cropped blazer to a Dior power suit – both are great smart options which are also around in lots of colours and fabrics this season. If you fancy going for something a little more alternative then we’re loving jumpsuits this season, as seen on runway of Elie Saab, they create a simple yet strong fashion statement. With these trends in mind we’ve shopped the web, from our favourite designers to high street and picked our Top 20 pieces to wear to a wedding this winter.
