Sometimes it feels like a day doesn’t pass without a new designer-high street collaboration. Don’t get us wrong, we’re all for affordable, well-designed fashion. But, thanks to the slew of limited edition drops happening across the shopping spectrum, we almost missed the latest instalment from Uniqlo U.
Designed by Christophe Lemaire (who use to work at Hermes), the collection is a melting pot of quiet luxury. It has the craftsmanship of Lemaire’s Parisian atelier and the technological advancements of Uniqlo’s Tokyo HQ. The look? Future favourites, by which we mean easy-to-wear items that are a step above basics.
The voluminous down jacket and the fleece cardigan is a personal favourite. But, don’t scroll past the knitwear either - a merino knitted shirt found it’s way into our basket - or the trousers where a pair of high rise straight leg jeans are hiding.
