A while ago now, Topshop quietly dropped a new dress style on its website under the title ‘Topshop Loves’, a new weekly installment of cult items guaranteed to sell at lightning speed. The first was the Austin dress – available in both floral and star prints – with loose, short sleeves and a cut-out back detail. It was a very reasonable £39 and promptly sold out in just 24 hours.
Following that success story, Topshop unveiled the Sicily dress– a blue, striped, one-shoulder midi with waist belt. Basically, it was the ultimate holiday frock for just £40. And of course, it has completely sold out. As has the pink, leopard print midi skirt (just £29). Surprisingly, the £39 monochrome jumpsuit, also featured, is still available in some sizes – while the chic, frilled Riviera playsuit that followed is not. Then there was the Verona ruffle ditsy print tea dress – available in some sizes – and the Phoenix Utility denim playsuit, in-stock in khaki, but not in blue denim. We've also seen the Cairo co-ord, which was just £29 for an entire outfit and even an exciting re-stock of the Austin dress, now available in new colours and prints (and which you can still shop below).
Last week saw the launch of what could possibly be the ideal holiday dress. Long, lightweight and with a Bardot neckline, the only thing better than the fact it's in on-trend snake print is the fact that it won't need ironing. You can simply shove it in your suitcase, be on your way and never stop to so much as think about an iron for your entire holiday.

Topshop, Vienna Midi Skirt, £29
Today, you can get your hands on a dreamy midi skirt for £29. It's dreamy because it suits everyone and can also be worn with everything – T-shirts, trainers, cami tops, heels... Also, if you're anything like me, you may be desperately searching your wardrobe every morning for something that still allows you to go without tights but doesn't leave you freezing in this, er, delightful summer weather we've having. This skirt is that thing! Good grief, I'm excited.
Needless to say, if you like it, perhaps don't hang around. Time– and Topshop, apparently –waits for no one.
