'It' bags come and go, but if there's one that has truly swept the board with the A-list, it's got to be The Row's Margaux. Zoë Kravitz has been carrying hers for years, as have Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Jasmine Tookes and Elsa Hosk, who likes to post selfies with Margaux, the bag clutched under her upper arm.
With its capacious size and stealth-wealth credentials (read: no obvious logos or hardware save for a pair of side buckles), the Margaux has become a byword for chic. The only problem? Not only does she command a four-figure price tag, but she's not easy to snap up.

Luckily, the high street has clearly been inspired by the bag's quiet luxury appearance, with significantly more affordable versions that subtly pay homage to Margaux. River Island's faux-suede bag has a similarly rounded silhouette with short top handles, but comes in at a fraction of price (£46). Mango's bowling bag, meanwhile, is the perfect office bag - and comes with a detachable shoulder strap for ease (£49.99).
Margaux's most popular iteration might be suede, a fabric that is most definitely having a moment this autumn in all iterations. Zara's Margaux-esque suede shoulder bag has entirely sold out in both shades so do sign up to be notified when it drops again. (FYI, don't forget to spray liberally with a protective solution before leaving the house. Yours might not be Margaux, but she'll still be your favourite arm candy if you look after her.)
