This High Street Handbag Costs Looks Just Like This Designer Style Every Fashion Editor Owns

It's got the same quiet luxury credentials as The Row's Margaux.

'It' bags come and go, but if there's one that has truly swept the board with the A-list, it's got to be The Row's Margaux. Zoë Kravitz has been carrying hers for years, as have Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Jasmine Tookes and Elsa Hosk, who likes to post selfies with Margaux, the bag clutched under her upper arm.

With its capacious size and stealth-wealth credentials (read: no obvious logos or hardware save for a pair of side buckles), the Margaux has become a byword for chic. The only problem? Not only does she command a four-figure price tag, but she's not easy to snap up considering it's already sold out online.

Luckily, the high street has clearly been inspired by the bag's quiet luxury appearance, with significantly more affordable versions that subtly pay homage to Margaux. Cos' Studio Bowling Bag, £225 has a similarly rounded silhouette with short top handles, but comes in at a fraction of price. Much like the Margaux, Cos' bowling bag is available in suede as well as smooth leather iterations in an array of colours.

Not only does this Cos bag give you designer credentials for less, with its smooth black leather finish and roomy construction it's also endlessly versatile and practical.

Marks & Spencer's Suede Tote Bag, £130, meanwhile comes with adjustable handles and a detachable zipped pouch for additional storage, making it the ideal work bag. (FYI, don't forget to spray liberally with a protective solution before leaving the house. Yours might not be Margaux, but she'll still be your favourite arm candy if you look after her.)

M&S currently has an excellent collection of suede bags on offer, including this slouchy brown design that looks remarkably like The Row's Margaux.

Another great lookalike, this River Island Tote lines with a detachable strap and gold hardware detailing.

If you're looking to add an understated pop of colour to your accessories roster, Reformation's olive green Patrizia tote is a chic option.

H&M's black leather shopper is so popular with the style set that it's sold out multiple times. While you can sign up for viral iteration, we'd make the case that this soft brown design looks equally as good.
