When a trio of the coolest girls on the planet, Gigi Hadid, Solange Knowles and Leandra Medina of Man Repeller, all like your brand, you know that you’re on to a good thing. Such is the case for designer George Keburia, whose ‘90s-esque tiny sunglasses have been spotted on the three trend-setters in recent weeks.

The Georgian designer was one of the rising stars of Tbilisi fashion week, with recent collections inspired by his upbringing in the war-torn country in the 1990s, with guns being a recurrent motif. His hit piece though is definitely the sunglasses, which have been enjoying A-list popularity thanks to the resurgence in ‘90s-style frames.

After all, Kanye West reportedly sent Kim Kardashian an email telling her that no one wears big shades anymore, attaching hundreds of pictures of ‘90s sunnies. (Sister Kourtney Kardashian is also a fan of the George Keburia glasses, and has been wearing hers since December).

If you’re used to big sunglasses a la the Olsen twins and Anna Wintour, it might be hard to get your head around the new style, but it’s actually incredibly flattering. The diamond shape gives the illusion of better bone structure (hello, angles) as well as widening longer faces, too.
