I’m Calling It – This Sienna Miller-Approved Bag Is Destined To Go Viral This Summer

One bag and two occasions? Not an issue for Sienna Miller.

Sienna Miller Bag Hero

Only Sienna Miller could carry the same bag to an Oasis gig and to the opening of one-man-play Angry Alan and somehow make it feel like the chicest decision of the week. While there's nothing worse than taking your favourite handbag out and then having to put it down on beer-soaked floors, the tube, or worse, the toilet tiles, Miller decided to do just that (with ease, I might add), styling her Tissa Fontaneda bag for two wildly different events this past month.

First spotted in New York at the opening of Angry Alan (John Krasinski's one-man play), Miller slung her Tissa Fontaneda bag over her shoulder with a maxi dress from celebrity-favourite St Agni. Miller then stepped out to watch the highly anticipated Oasis reunion, where she chose to style the brand's Victoria bag with a white tee and denim cut-offs, a signature 'less is more' look, but one that will get replicated hundreds of times nonetheless.

The exact bag Miller was spotted wearing is this one, which features a soft, rounded shape and horn embellishment. Handcrafted by European artisans, the bag is made using the finest calfskin leather, which is then combined with Fontaneda's signature nappa bubbles. The style is also available in mint green, toffee brown and leopard.

For those who have Miller to thank for the introduction to Tissa Fontaneda, the brand has also been quietly becoming a cult favourite among fashion editors, particularly those who favour timeless staples over trendy designs. Founded by Munich-born Tissa Fontaneda, whose impressive CV includes a stint at Loewe, the brand's signature (and perhaps most recognisable) offering is its bubble leather, characterised by a velvety soft Spanish nappa. Miller's exact bag, the Victoria style, also features said bubble leather, as well as patent leather, making it a simple yet sculptural bag for the everyday.

Miller's endorsement is extremely telling, too. In an era of algorithm-driven dressing, her decision to carry the same bag to two entirely different events feels almost unconventional, especially at a time when most celebrities rarely step out with the same designer bag twice. It speaks to a simpler and more refined way of dressing – a lesson most of us could definitely use in our day-to-day wardrobes. Shop other excellent Tissa Fontaneda offerings below.
