Why We All Want To Dress Like Sienna Miller (Again)

In 2004 we all wanted to dress like Sienna Miller. She wore UGG boots, we bought UGG boots. She wore peasant skirts, we bought ten. Well 2015 is the year Sienna fever returned. A decade later and we've found ourselves saying 'how can we be as cool as Sienna?' once again.

At the end of last year there were several signs she was on the up. The hair cut. The film with Bradley Cooper. The US Vogue cover. But we didn't quite anticipate how flawless her January wardrobe would be.

She was the talk of the Golden Globes with her Miu Miu champagne ivory silk duchesse gown. It was covered in pearl and crystal floral embellishment, with a plunging neckline with a metallic trim and a sheer nude back. It was a little bit antique, a little bit boho, and her sought-after choppy crop stopped it being too cutesy.

This week she wore an outfit which we anticipate will be as iconic as her green shades Glastonbury outfit. She appeared on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon in a resort 2015 Celine knitted dress with red, white and blue Missoni-esque stripes. Once again, her perfectly 'undone' waves made the look.

Other recent Sienna triumphs include the Balenciaga white sheer dress, with an off-the-shoulder bodice and visible high waisted pants underneath, she wore to the American Sniper premiere. We also heart the lilac lace off-the-shoulder Burberry gown she wore to the Evening Standard Theatre Awards and the Miu Miu red crop top and white skirt she wore to the American Sniper photocall. Oh and who could forget the burgundy Erdem asymmetrical dress.

Now excuse us while we go and cut our hair off and find something stripey.
