When we first heard that our beloved Topshop was launching a bridal collection of wedding and bridesmaid dresses last April, we were understandably elated. After all, the average cost of a wedding dress is in the region of £832, which is outrageous considering it’s something you often only wear once.
Now, we’ve got even better news for any brides-to-be: there are some pieces from the first collection now on sale online. There are seven different styles still currently on the Topshop website, with prices slashed by almost 50% on some looks. Catering to very different brides (and indeed bridesmaids), there’s the off-the-shoulder Bardot style, which features delicate tie straps and lace layers, the ivory mini-dress with high-neck and long lace sleeves, and the slinky maxi in blush pink. Some are even priced as low as £50, making for the perfect bridesmaid dress.
