It was one of our most cherished shopping destinations throughout our teen years. But ever since the early noughties, our relationship with the brand has sadly waned.
Let's be honest, it all started when Spanish heart throb Zara landed on the high street. Soon, we were seeing the store behind River Island's back, dedicating Thursday lunch times to browsing the gloriously tempting 'New In' rails.
But it seems all is forgiven, as the high street store that won over our teenage hearts has welcomed us back with open arms (and supersized sleeves) this season. Yep, River Island is back and has well and truly upped its sartorial game.

We may need to clear some room in our shoe closet. River Island has introduced some major players this season and we cannot get enough. We'll be taking these backless mules home, asap. Talk about tackling two trends in one fell swoop.

Yes, blush pink still reigns as the 'It' shade of the season. And River Island has welcomed the trend wholeheartedly. We have our hearts set on this wrap-around blouse. We'll be teaming ours with peplum trousers and backless loafers for work.
