There is another royal baby on the way, as Princess Charlene Of Monaco and Prince Albert announced in a statement today that they are expecting their first child together. A statement from the palace reads: 'Prince Albert and Princess Charlene have the immense joy to announce they are expecting a happy event. The birth is due at the end of the year.'

Prince Albert II has been Monaco's ruler since 2005 and heir child will be first in line to the throne of Monaco. A year ago 36-year-old Charlene spoke about her desire to start a family, as she said to Sunday World newspaper: "Now I'm settled and I think kids will come. I don't put any pressure on myself. If it happens, it happens."

In another interview with HOLA! she revealed that her husband is her biggest support as she said: "My husband is my biggest support, the person that I confide in and who knows me best."

One thing is for sure Charlene, the former Olympic swimmer from South Africa, will have a seriously chic maternity wardrobe. *The princess is a fixture at Paris Fashion Week and darling of designers such as Giorgio Armani who designed her couture wedding dress. Her wardrobe is filled with the likes of Ralph Lauren and Christian Dior, so we don't imagine she'll tone down the luxe when it comes to her maternity wardrobe.

We predict this will be the most hype about maternity style since, well, the last royal bump - our very own Duchess of Cambridge.
