The unlikely hit of the Royal Wedding (beside's Beatrice's hat), was Pippa Middleton's pert derrière in the fitted white column Alexander McQueen gown. In one day she became a worldwide sensation. In her first ever televised interview with the Today show, Pippa confessed that the attention that the white Alexander McQueen gown got was a complete surprise.
"It wasn't planned, the dress was almost meant to be insignificant," she told Matt Lauer in the interview, explaining it was meant to "blend in with the train" of Kate's Alexander McQueen gown. "I suppose it's flattering' before saying it was 'embarrassing' and 'not planned'", she added.

So where is the dress now? Pippa revealed that it is tucked away in her wardobe at home and no, she hasn't worn it again. She said: "It's the sort of thing I'm sure I'll bring out if someone wanted to see it, or my children one day want to see it - I'll show them. It's tucked away."
The royal wedding was broadcast in 180 countries but Pippa said that the Middletons viewed it as just a 'family wedding.' 'It sounds funny to say, but we saw it, as just a family wedding. And actually, I didn't realize, perhaps, the scale of it until afterwards,' she said. 'We all took on the the roles as any family would.'
What about standing in front of the sea of people on the royal balcony? Pippa said: 'It was surreal, you slightly don't know if you're living it through it. When we sort of saw crowds rushing around to the balcony and I suddenly was like, ''Wow, this is - this is pretty special.'''
As for the downsides of fame Pippa said: 'I have felt publicly bullied a little bit just by, you know, when I read things that clearly aren't true or that, whichever way someone looks at it, it's a negative side. It is quite difficult. Because eventually I'm just paving my way and trying to live a life like any 30-year-old.'
