Patricia Arquette Made It The Feminist Oscars, Tackling Equal Pay in Her Acceptance Speech

When Patty Arquette stepped up for her Best Supporting Actress Oscar, it was so-far, so-samey. Until she started her rabble rousing speech about equal pay for women.

Thanking 'every woman who gave birth, to every tax payer and citizen in this nation, we have fought for everybody else's equal rights. It's our time to have wage equality once and for all and equal rights for women in the United States of America.'

Cue fist bumps from Meryl Streep, finger twirling from Jennifer Lopez, Ethan Hawk going as crazy as he has been all night and the rest of the crowd going wilder than they had all night (including when Neil Patrick Harris was just in his pants). The whole ceremony rebranded as the #FeministOscars. What a gal.
