Nike is once again giving us another reason to head to the gym - they have teamed up with Brasilian designer Pedro Lourenco to create some of the coolest performance gear, well, ever. The collection is inspired by the desire for luxury in gymwear, with pieces you could wear on and off the cross trainer.

Nike's Autumn Winter 2014 campaign star Karlie Kloss is fronting the ads, modelling the three looks and two footwear pieces in the collection. Top of our wishlist? The embossed woven women's jacket which has a crocodile-effect pattern and close to the body fit as well as Dri-FIT technology, making it a street style staple AND all you would expect from Nike performancewear. Then we come to the lightweight hooded jacket which is water-repellent and lightweight - the dream running jacket.

Aside from the jackets (and trainers, and tanks, and shorts) the other thing we can't get over in the campaign Karlie's incredibly toned physique. We chatted with the model earlier this year about how she stays in shape and she told us: "I am constantly on the move and love to be active. I studied ballet my whole life, so dance is a huge part of life for me and part of my exercise routine." She added: "I trained as a classical ballerina growing up. Ballet and dance are passions of mine. But I also love to learn and practice different ways to strengthen my body by trying out different strengthening exercises and intense workouts like the ones I’ve done with Nike Training Club Master Trainers. I like to switch it up and think that’s the best way to really challenge my body and become stronger in every way."

Karlie said to us about her gym look: "For me, it’s all about function. I want something that’s going to be functional, whether I’m running or dancing. I think it’s about being comfortable, but having apparel and footwear that are really wearable. I tend to work out in the morning and then go to the studio for work. So I want to wear something that I feel good in and can go to work in. When you wear athletic wear that you feel confident in, it’s motivation to actually get your butt to the gym."

Last week Nike unveiled its Spring Summer 2015 collection in New York with a presentation and runway show starring iconic female athletes, including Laura Robson and Paula Radcliffe, and models Joan Smalls, Jeneil Williams and - you guessed it - Karlie Kloss. Our editor-in-chief Jane Bruton was there so check out her Instagram page to see some insider snaps.

Nike may often have athletes rather than models as campaign stars, but there is no denying Karlie's commitment to fitness. She told us of her fitness goals: "One goal on my bucket list is to some day run a half marathon. With some group training, maybe within the next year or two, I’d love to run a half marathon, or even someday a marathon. I think goals are really important to have when you’re training. That’s one thing that I learned through ballet. With hard work, dedication and passion, you can really accomplish anything. I think a marathon will be a challenge, but I love a challenge. Bring it on."

The Nike x Pedro Lourenço Collection will be available globally on November 13 at NikeLab and NikeLab DSM locations in New York, Amsterdam, Berlin, London, Milan, Paris, Stockholm, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Rio and online through nike.com/nikelab.
