Naomi Campbell Is Hosting A Charity Fashion Show On LFW Eve (And You’re Invited)

Naomi Campbell will open London Fashion Week next month, with a Fashion For Relief show raising awareness for Ebola.

Naomi will gather some of her fashion friends (Kate Moss?) to model pieces donated by designers including Givenchy, Alexander McQueen, Vivienne Westwood, Stella McCartney, Balmain, Marchesa and Versace. There will also be an auction with items donated by her influential contacts.

"I'm thrilled to return to London to open London Fashion Week for this very special cause close to my heart," said Naomi. "The Fashion For Relief Show is an incredible event and this year we hope to raise more money than ever before. Raising awareness for Ebola and educating about its prevention is crucial to help prevent the spread of this deadly disease."

Naomi Campbell has worked on a number philanthropic projects over her career, from her work with the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund to her previous Fashion for Relief shows which have raised funds to help benefit victims of Hurricane Katrina, the Haiti earthquake and the Indian terrorist attacks. In November she hosted a pop-up shop in Westfield selling goodies donated by her friends, raising over £30k for the Ebola crisis.
