Margherita Missoni is launching a childrenswear collection called, you guessed it, Margherita. According to WWD the logo will be a smiling daisy, because that is what her name translates to in English. Cute, huh?

It will cater for boys up to two years old and girls up to seven. The collection will go on sale in March at Yoox and Nordstrom, and if we know Margherita, every single piece will be cute as a button.

This move into childrenswear makes perfect since given that she has a little boy, Otto, and is currently expecting her second child. Margherita announced on Instagram that her and her husband Eugenio Amos are expecting another boy. So expect them to be dressed head-to-toe in Margherita.

We can already confirm that Margherita has A* taste in childrenswear - she regularly posts pictures of her son Otto wearing adorable co-ordinated outfits. As expected (given she is from the zig-zag family) she is all about prints.

Margherita isn't the only one to turn to kidswear - earlier this month it was revealed that Karl Lagerfeld is creating his first kidswear line, to be unveiled in Spring 2016.
