M&S: Dress The Nation - the global retailer's reality show to find the next name in fashion - is premiering tonight and with nail-biting tasks, heart-warming stories and a celebrity judging panel dressed in head-to-toe in M&S, it's set to be your next TV binge.

Airing weekly on ITV, episode one's celebrity guest Mel B made a strong sartorial case for the M&S Collection Jersey Round Neck Midaxi Column Dress, £39.50 which has already proven popular among customers after almost completely selling out once. Expertly paired with an Autograph gold necklace, £35 and white leather ankle boots, £60, the former Spice Girl's look is in a few words, brilliant.

Mel's could-be-designer, khaki midaxi dress is a standout hue for autumn, featuring a flattering ruched waist detail and subtle, fluted sleeves. Thanks to the ankle-skimming length, the M&S number can serve as both the perfect workwear staple, while also becoming a key player in your occasion-wear wardrobe.

Ahead of her appearance on the show, the 49-year-old posed with show's co-host AJ Odudu in an Instagram photo and wrote how she 'can't wait' for fans to see the first instalment.

She continues, 'It's such a good one with lots of amazinggg designers, great people, the outfits I loveeee laughs and some emotional moments too I really cant wait to hear what you all think'.
