She’s been trending on social media since her tumble at the BRIT Awards on Wednesday but Madge managed to almost raise smile when she was pictured out in London last night after revealing she suffered 'whiplash' falling off stage.

Taking the injury in her stride as Madge partied with Rita Ora, Kim Kardashian, Kanye West and Mark Ronson at the Mert & Marcus House of Love party at Annabel's.

Madge was painfully pulled from stage during her performance of her new single ‘Living For Love’ after a 20-year hiatus from the awards, falling backwards down THREE massive steps. But she was applauded for getting back up to continue the song - aptly singing the lyrics ‘watch me stumble’ and ‘I’m going to carry on’. Major awks. Speaking on the Jonathan Ross Show about her 'nightmare fall', Madge said: 'I didn't hurt my butt but I hurt my head. I know how to fall, I have fallen off my horse many times.

'I had little bit of whiplash, I smacked the back of my head. And I had a man standing over me with a flashlight until about 3am to make sure I was compos mentis.’ Thank god for that guy!

Madge also reckons the shocking incident was probably really scary for viewers. 'It was a nightmare, I like to be amazing, I rehearse and rehearse so when I do a show it is effortless and I create magic. I did the opposite, I actually created a horror show for everyone.'

Blaming her Armani cape for being tied 'too tight' Madge wrote on her Instagram page: 'Armani hooked me up! My beautiful cape was tied too tight! But nothing can stop me and love really lifted me up! Thanks for your good wishes! I'm fine! #livingforlove.'

Clearly slightly bruised by all the abuse she puts up with over her being over the hill, Madonna compares the ageism she suffers to racism and homophobia in the new issue of Rolling Stone saying:

‘No one would dare to say a degrading remark about being black or dare to say a degrading remark on Instagram about someone being gay. But my age - anybody and everybody would say something degrading to me. And I always think to myself: why is that accepted? What's the difference between that and racism, or any discrimination?

‘We still live in a very sexist society. It's the last great frontier. Because women, generally, when they reach a certain age, have accepted that they're not allowed to behave a certain way. But I don't follow the rules. I never did, and I'm not going to start.’

Hear, hear.
