You don’t have to be a fashion expert to know that leopard print was HUGE this year.
From Cardi B showing up in the print head to toe at Milan Fashion Week, designers sending models including Gigi Hadid down the runway in leopard pieces, to countless leopard print slip skirts all over Instagram.
We’ve lost count of the number of times we’ve seen THAT Realisation Par leopard print skirt on our favourite influencers, and while ‘The Naomi’ will set you back $180 dollars (around £140) there’s a cheaper alternative on ASOS that people can’t get enough of.
At £30 it’s a fraction of the price of the cult Realisation Par version (about a fifth of the price to be exact) and it’s certainly grabbed the attention of fashion lovers. The bias cut skirt has already sold out twice, and while this beauty isn’t silk like its designer cousin, it has a ‘super-smooth silky’ feeling, according to the site.
ASOS’ ingenious Insider programme may have something to do with helping this skirt and other hero items sell out in record time. A diverse group of men and women are chosen as ASOS Insiders, and have their own dedicated ASOS Instagram accounts and profiles on the ASOS website.
ASOS Lotte is just one of the insiders who posted the skirt on her Instagram feed (which has over 20,000 followers) with a caption that alludes to the popularity of the item; ‘Autumn means my favourite DMs & leather jacket are back in action 🍂 ALSO @asos_kat did us all a huuuge favour and found out this skirt will be back in stock in November 🙌’

The skirt is part of the ASOS DESIGN collection, which is created by a team of designers in London and ‘interprets major trends’ and gives shoppers ‘the confidence to express [their] individuality.
