Laura Bailey's style is oh so delightful, with a rainbow of fondant pastels, tea party dresses and ribbons in her hair, topped off with a big dollop of Chanel. Whether she's wearing sugary tweed on the front row in Paris or a Bella Freud knit on the cobbles at Somerset House, she's never too far away from a street style lens.
Laura went Style Hunting at Heathrow airport to find stylish passengers, and we caught up with the British beauty to find out her style tips...
Grazia Daily: What catches your eye when looking at street style?
Laura: "Original spirit really! That might manifest in a classic or a quirky way, but just somebody that sounds out from the crowd. It's quite hard to describe but you just know when you see it."
Grazia Daily: What do you find gets you noticed?
Laura: "I never consciously dress to get noticed, it's quite a weird concept. But I think what gets noticed is when you are yourself and confident and relaxed and having fun with fashion and not dressing to impress or to tick certain boxes but to celebrate individuality and express yourself through fashion. Rather than trying to do the most outrageous or most 'it' thing. I think it's instinctive."
Grazia Daily: When it comes to posing, what are your tips?
Laura: "It's obvious but to try and relax and smile, which is sometimes difficult if you feel a bit besieged in a good way! I think just breathe and smile and say thank you!"
Grazia Daily: Do you get nervous with street style photographers?
Laura: "On the cobbles, in my heels, with fear of injury! Not so much nervous but there's definitely adrenaline, but that's more the atmosphere and what is happening around me or around fashion week. There is an element of nervousness, but just relax and have fun it's not the most important or serious side of what I do. I just try and enjoy it and take the compliment."
Grazia Daily: What's your favourite outfit you've ever worn?
Laura: "The outfits that are most memorable for me are Chanel moments. In London maybe a bit of Bella Freud a bit of denim. I don't really have any rules or a formula or a favourite outfit, I just have current passions."
Grazia Daily: What are your favourite labels?
Laura: "In London I love Simone Rocha, Ashley Williams, I am also excited about young designers. I'm also a big fan of the classics - Burberry and Chanel and always keen to see what they are doing next."
Grazia Daily: When you are travelling, are you an organised packer?
Laura: "I'm organised for work and less for family adventures. I am an emotional packer, rather than a practical one. I'll take a favourite less dress but maybe forget something more practical. But you can find your favourite things at the airport before you travel!"
Grazia Daily: What are your packing tips?
**Laura: **"I am massively in favour of minimalism and making things work in many ways. I want a swimsuit that works as a top, a dress that works as a nightie. I want a denim skirt that goes with absolutely everything. I make everything hard working and long lasting."
Grazia Daily: Have you bought any pieces on your travels that are special to you?
Laura: "I'm a big shopper on the road. Textiles - everything from table clothes to little dresses.I love vintage nighties from all over the place."
Grazia Daily: What do you think everyone should invest in?
**Laura: **"Classics! Things that will last forever or work with anything so for me that would be a Burberry trench, a Chanel little black jacket, great shirts and blouses, great knitwear, beautiful shoes you can't resist and excellent underwear. It's quite a long list isn't it?!"
Grazia Daily: What takes up the most space in your wardrobe?
Laura: "If I'm honest the most space is shoes and bags. How many do I have? Not telling! But there's always room for more..."
**Grazia Daily: If you had to wear one thing forever what would it be? **
** Laura: **"I would probably go very classic and monochrome. Chanel little black jacket, beautiful white blouse from Louis Vuitton or something like that. It might sound boring but probably black jeans, which kind of an every day favourite and I would really miss if you took them away from me."
Grazia Daily: Talk us through your project with Heathrow...
Laura: "We launched terminal 5 luxury shopping offering, with the new look stores. I also curated the Style Hunter project - finding stylish passengers coming through the terminal. All day we have been keeping an eye out for unusual and chic looking passengers and really having fun people watching around the terminal."* *
