It’s been a while but K-Stew’s back and she’s looking beauteous. As any sensible girl in the spotlight would do when on a movie promo circuit standing next to Kate Bosworth and Julianne Moore, Kristen has ditched her casual garms for the Still Alice tour. Not only has she returned to the limelight with a new wardrobe overhauled into very sleek territory (more of which in a sec), but she’s also looking extra foxy with a fresh sixties-style, auburn mini-bob… and smiles! Lots of them. And they suit her.

Like always, K-Stew looks at her most comfortable wearing something that allows her tomboy side to shine. Remember the early years in silly, fussy mini skirts and ridic court shoes she couldn’t wait to fling out of a car window? It was only recently that an unexpectedly, overly-tricksy dress at the Hollywood Film Awards created a risqué nip-slip moment. No one needs that kind of challenge on a red carpet and it would seem that K-Stew’s now stepped into a good rhythm with her popular celebrity stylist Tara Swennen.

So what’s her 2015 vibe? Whether that’s slicking back this new ‘do and wearing a perfectly cut Stella McCartney trouser suit (á la Tilda Swinton) or donning a demi-opaque and embroidered shift from Roksanda Ilincic (with sensible Wolford underwear carefully peeking through), Kristen’s Still Alice wardrobe looks moody and dark, sassy rather than stroppy, and looky here - she's relying on the brilliant wares of some of our best British designers.

*So what could be next for the star’s closet? Well, if we were K-Stew's stylist (which we're way too busy for, soz) the following S/S’15 runway looks carry great potential… *
