You stay up ALL night, overhauling your wardrobe in the hope of an entirely new look, with your husband, who just so happens to be Kanye West – a very discerning gent when it comes to fashion (he invented leather pants, remember?) - and what do you expect? Fireworks deserved of a chameleon! Sartorial shifts that shake the whole freakin' earth! Closets will crumble! The fashion world completely and utterly transformed! ‘I'm so ready for new looks for the New Year! New 2015 vision,' she tweeted in excitement.
So Kim Kardashian’s COMPLETELY NEW LOOK is drum roll please suspiciously, exactly, the very same look. What a waste of an evening.
The skin-tight garb in neutral shades is still present and correct. Perhaps painfully so. Don’t you think that stiff skirt looks a tad uncomfortable? Talking of which, this is where the most dramatic addition steps in: the mini is rendered in pony-skin and - calm down calm down - cut above, not below, KK’s knees. That hemline decision, let alone the calf-hair finish, must’ve taken at least half an hour for Kim and Kayne to concoct.

Her matchy, snug and textural biker jacket continues a theme that the skirt’s giant derrière zip starts off. We’re thinking moto. We’re thinking monochrome. We’re thinking a daring passer by better not try and unzip that booty into break-the-internet territory.
With her baby handbag, huge black shades and ankle strap stilettos there’s nothing too radically unusual in Kim’s revamped accessories department either. Could you imagine if she stepped out in multi-coloured sneaks? Or, heaven forbid, loafers? With a fedora? And a pixie crop? And a buttoned up shirt?
There’s nothing wrong with this look at all aside from it's proclamation of the (not-so) new; Kim is just as sassy and beautiful as ever. Should she really want to swtich things up in the wardrobe department, here are the Spring/Summer 2015 looks we’d suggest (not to put Kanye out of a job or anything)…
