Forging forth with her fashion quest for world domination – only this time with clothes ON and specifically the wondrous custom-made and vintage wares of Miuccia Prada – Kim Kardashian West has scooped herself another big cover slot. Following her break-the-internet bum-sposure in Paper magazine and a campaign alongside husband Kanye for Balmain S/S’15, LOVE magazine is her latest high profile turn.
Forever flipping pop culture on its head, editor-in-chief Katie Grand has arranged the most haute seal of approval on this reality TV star by commissioning one of the industry’s most feted designers to create a selection of looks. Add bleached eyebrows into the mix and the web-o-sphere has proclaimed that KK is practically unrecognisable – but those curves and that pout are undeniably the pretty property of one lady and one lady only.

Ultra-glamorous she may look but this shoot – like so many others – wasn’t a walk in the park: ‘Working w @stevenkleinstudio was so crazy! We shot for 3 days straight at a motel in LA. One night til 4am,’ Kim tweeted. The full result of this marathon-like masterpiece is yet to be seen, but it looks like Miuccia and Katie have tweaked, twisted and re-styled some of Prada's past successes (the fur scarves were a big hit for S/S’11, whilst this crinkle-wrap skirt has shades of A/W’10’s dishevelled best).
And for Katie’s next trick? Cara Delevingne has now started her tenure as LOVE’s contributing editor. Cara and Kim couldn’t be further apart in terms of their spheres of influence and personal style, but cast your mind back to September and the two ladies did Instagram a shot of themselves with messy wet hair working on a 'secret project' for LOVE magazine together.
