UPDATE: Last night the first part of the Keeping Up With The Kardashians season finale aired in the US, with the E! cameras joining Kim in her wedding dress fitting. Kendall and Kylie are the first to see the dress at a fitting in New York. Kim says "this is what I call couture people" when she tries on the Givenchy gown.
Kim says in the fitting: 'I am so excited for how my dress turned out, it is gorgeous. Everything is so perfect. It is probably the most beautiful dress I have seen in my life. It is really a dream come true.' But Khloe comments that the dress reminds her of Princess Diana - a comparison which wasn't so well received by Kim who responds: "Princess Diana's wedding dress was like, not it."
The episode is as drama-filled as usual - there's squabbles about Kylie's blue hair, Rob not RSVP-ing to the wedding and Kourtney telling Scott she is pregnant. Even Kim wants the wedding to be over, as she announces to Bruce: 'It just seems like yesterday that I was getting proposed to and now we have weeks before the wedding, there is so much more to do and the pressure is on. I am just like so lets hurry up and have the wedding so that I can get pregnant again. I am so excited.'
May 2014: First Look At Kim Kardashian's Givenchy Wedding Dress
Kim Kardashian's Givenchy dress [E!]
After months (yes, months) of speculation about what and who Kim Kardashian would wear down the aisle, it's finally been made official. The bride wore... you guessed it... Givenchy Couture by Riccardo Tisci.
Kim Kardashian tied the knot to Mr Kanye West today in Florence in the full Givenchy works - a white Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci gown, veil and accessories. Mr, Mrs and baby West all wore Riccardo Tisci for Givenchy - a spokesperson from the house confirmed the news to WWD..
Kanye West wore a custom Givenchy tuxedo while baby Nori also wore a Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci couture dress that matched Kim's. Would you expect anything less? Remember, this is a family that almost always dresses in sync. A paparrazzi shot of Kim's gown is being circulated on Twitter and it looks suitably glorious. See the Kate Middleton-esque lace sleeves, the sheer panels at the waist and a wonderfully ethereal veil.
Grazia's fashion director Susannah Frankel said of the dress:
**"Kim Kardashian's wedding dress was never going to be shy but it was romantic, even quite traditional, given the endless possibilities. It's lovely that she asked Riccardo Tisci to design it. After all, as well as being great at his job, he is a family friend, knows her body shape well having dressed her many times before and his style has just the right balance between appropriate and interesting, respect for tradition and innovation that a modern bride could wish for. It's a clever choice, a beautiful choice, a loyal choice... And the fact that Riccardo also dressed Kanye and North is sweeter still."**

Last time Kim got married she wore THREE Vera Wang gowns and we had heard that Kim got changed (at least once) during the ceremony. She canged into a heavily embellished sleeved dress with a deep plunging V. This hasn't been claimed by a designer yet, but it looks to us like a Balmain. Plus she's posing with Mr Balmain, Olivier Rousteing.

Kim Kardashian is Riccardo's most high profile bride to date. Before Kimmy, Christina Ricci was the most noteable star to get married in one of his creations. His white lace couture gowns have also made their way onto the red carpet, as Rooney Mara wore a white lace floor-sweeper to the Met Ball in 2013.
Riccardo Tisci is a fan of the Kardashian-West family - in an interview earlier this year he called Kim "the Marilyn Monroe of our age." After the backlash for Kim's floral Givenchy Met Ball dress last year, Riccardo quickly sprung to her defence.

He said: 'She is a really good friend, and I am very happy she came to the Met for the first time. I love Kim. Doing maternity was fantastic. I wanted to have a Kim Kardashian moment, because Kim always supports me. She is the future wife of a really good friend of mine.' He added: ''I wanted to have a moment of family…Kim, Kanye and the baby. It will be a family that I will be close to."
