Plastic invaded London last night when Melissa opened its first international flagship store in the heart of Covent Garden. In true Melissa style, the party was filled with plenty of the brand's key raw material - plastic, natch - and guests were immersed into the Melissa universe thanks to the same scent as the shoes, taking us back to our childhood.

After the success of Melissa Galeria in New York, this is the label’s second ever boutique outside of Brazil and it's seriously stunning. Located in a historical building from the 18th century, the store reflects the contrast between the new and the traditional with two floors that juxtapose a clean design with elegant Georgian architecture.

The guest list included none other than KATE MOSS! who joined her fellow Brit model Georgia May Jagger while hubby Jamie Hince hit the decks. They partied the night away alongside Jamie Winstone, Laura Whitmore and Mille Mackintosh who nibbled on toffee apples and sipped on champagne and vodka lime coolers. Yum.
