The Duchess of Cambridge made an extremely stylish appearance yesterday in South London while visiting a children's health and development centre. Perhaps because we're currently well into September and therefore frantically figuring out how to convincingly transition our daily uniform from summer sandals and wafty dresses to appropriate office wear, we found ourselves positively fawning over Kate's sleek look.

Kate opted for a polka dot blouse by Equipment, a brand famed for its effortless shirting often sported by the likes of Katie Holmes and Carine Roitfeld, paired with £29.99 Zara culottes - a price point we can all get on happily get on board with. The wide legs and cropped hem are perfect for this time of year when it's neither hot nor cold. Completing the look were a pair of Gianvito Rossi 'Piper' pumps. Kate often turns to the italian footwear brand for the pointed toe courts she's partial to, but we love how this pair is armed with a slightly chunkier heel than her usual stiletto - a much more comfortable and sturdy option for office environments (not to mention the commute).
